2010 Annual Colleges Races

The 2010 Annual College Races took place on the 400m track at IT Sligo.

First place honours were taken by the Summerhill /Ursuline team,

consisting of three female and three male athletes.

They received the Martin Sheridan perpetual Trophy,

named in honour of the local Olympic hero from Bohola Co. Mayo,

whose achievements in a variety of throwing events

paved the way for many participating in Irish athletics today.

Fifth Place: IT Sligo, Recreation and Leisure Team 1

Mens 400m: David Bourke, Mercy

Womens 400m: Niamh Tighe, Drumshambo

Mens 100m: David Heffernan. Summerhill/IT Sligo

Womens 100m Annia Beny, Mercy`
