There is a mixed bag of weather in store for the country over the Bank Holiday weekend starting tomorrow.
Met Éireann says that overall, it will be a showery few days, with some sunny spells.
Meteorologist Gerry Murphy has been looking ahead to the conditions we are facing from today.
"All areas will basically get heavy showers, some even possibly thundery," he said.
"Then, really, as you go through the weekend, more heavy showers really for tomorrow especially in Leinster and Munster and then more heavy showers on Sunday again, mainly in the eastern half of the country.
"The best of the weather really will be in Connacht and western parts of Ulster after today - they should get some reasonably good dry periods at times through Saturday and Sunday.
"Then all areas can expect a fair amount of dry weather on Monday."
