Weather gives Grange roadworks a reprieve

In an update by Sligo County Council motorists are being advised that due to the heavy and sustained rainfall forecast for Friday 24th August, Northstone will be suspending surfacing works on the N15 at Grange. Weather permitting, Northstone expect to resume works on Monday next 27th August.

It is expected that surfacing should be complete by Wednesday 29th August, which will be followed by the placement of road markings and completion of the pedestrian ‘splitter’ island.

It is anticipated that the majority of works will be completed by Friday 31st August, with all works fully complete by week ending 7th September
