Sligo Gardaí investigating multiple burglaries

Sligo Gardai has begun investigations into two burglaries in the Cliffony region and another in Cashelgarron.

The crimes took place yesterday, Sunday, between 12 and 3.30pm.

Cash and jewellery was taken.

Local residents have reported that over recent months that there have been so many in the North Sligo area in broad daylight.

Residents in Sligo are warned to be vigilant at all times. In the west of the county thieves stole a quantity of copper fittings from a number of houses in the Skreen/Dromard region last week.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen something or someone acting suspiciously yesterday, not realising robberies have taken place, to contact them at  071- 9157000, or the Garda Confidential line on 1800666111.
