30th. of June 2012 a group of local bikers took to the roads around the
North West to raise funds as a tribute to a great friend and fellow fundraiser, Noel 'The Wedge' Dwyer, from Culfadda, who died on the 2nd
Bikers from Sligo, Roscommon, Dublin and Galway took part in the Run, raising €3,520.
event was organised by Donagh Mc Donagh, Gerry Looby, Kevin Kielty, Don
Flannery, Tom Devine and Tommy Anderson, along with the co-operation and
blessing of Noels wife - Jane, daughter Chloe and sons Jason and Scott,
his many friends and neighbours it was decided that the money raised
would be given to the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) in Dun

came from Dublin to gratefully accept the cheque and thank all those
involved and let them know about the hospital's work and that the monies
would be put to very good use in carrying on the many programmes.
The cheque presentation event took place on Monday 24th September in Higgins Lounge, Culfadda.
