Sligo GAA and Rovers both at home today

MARKIEVICZ PARK hosts Sligo versus Antrim in an All Ireland Senior Football Championship knockout qualifier at 5pm today, Saturday.

Sligo lost to Mayo last time out after winning late on in the opening game with New York.

Climb Clear

The losers tonight are eliminated from the 2017 chase for the 'Sam Maguire,' a trophy neither side tonight has won.

The pair are fairly evenly matched as League Division 3 opponents.

The Showgrounds will see Sligo Rovers, in tenth place, host the bottom club Galway United at 7.45pm.

Its a game both western sides must win for a chance to climb clear of the relegation zone.

Ex Sligo players scored freely last night, including a Seanie Maguire brace for Cork City in a 4-1 win.

The SSE Airtricity League leaders tie with Limerick was shown live on EirSport Two, sponsored by EJ Menswear.

Tim Clancy for Bray, David McMillan for Dundalk, Jimmy Keohane for Cork City and Dinny Corcoran for Bohemian were among the ex Sligo players to score elsewhere.
