Settlements are needed “as a matter of urgency,” local TD Tony McLoughlin told the Dáil on Tuesday afternoon.
But Agriculture Minister Michael Creed said he was “not familiar” with the of the commonage involved in the fire.
He asked the Deputy to give him details so he could have it investigated.
Urged Deputy McLoughlin “It is time this matter was resolved in the interest of those farmers.
“I have met them and they are certainly out of pocket,” said the Sligo TD re the fire which occurred early May 2017.
