Labour have nominated journalist Susan O'Keeffe as the party's candidate in Sligo-North Leitrim. Susan works as freelance journalist in print, TV and radio as well as acting as a media trainer and consultant. She contested the 2009 European elections in the North-West constituency on behalf of Labour but was unsuccessful, winning slightly less than 6 per cent of first preferences.

On Tuesday the 15th of February we hit the streets of Sligo to find out how the locals
felt about the issues affecting them.
While talking to people on the street we came across one person with some interesting views. This video
